How do I care for my marked clothing?
The tile.
We've all been heartbroken when we found our favorite t-shirt ruined after washing. Because we deserve to finally have peace of mind with each wash and find our clothes intact, here are our tips for avoiding unpleasant surprises with marked textiles , whether flocking or screen printing transfer :
1. Wash your clothes inside out...to find your markings where they belong
To protect your marked clothes, turn them inside out . You will thus limit friction and contact with other colors, which promotes more lasting anchoring of the marking and helps maintain its quality. Also be careful not to overfill the drum: you will preserve your marked clothes, others, and your machine.
2. Prefer washing at 30°C or less
Like us, marked clothing can suffer from heatstroke above 30°C. Choose cycles at 30°C or lower if possible for gentle washes, and find your clothes in all their splendor.
3. Iron clothes inside out
Even after washing, heat and markings do not go well together.
If you wish to iron your clothes, turn them inside out to preserve your markings , to display your clothes without wrinkles or damage.
4. Avoid the dryer
Last step in many laundry loads: the dryer. Although it is sometimes very useful, you will have to do without it to protect your clothes marked with flocking or screen printing. The dryer damages the fibers of your clothes and will wear them out more quickly. Opt instead for natural drying on a drying rack, tancarville or hanger. Your clothes will thank you, your wallet and the planet: you save energy and it's more ecological .
You will have understood, high heat is the number 1 enemy for your clothes marked with flocking or screen printing transfer .
By adopting a few good habits, you should find your favorite item of clothing safe and sound, and considerably extend its lifespan!
